The followiing series of photographs once again supports our finding of a greatly reduced flow throughout the Georges river catchment. This location is also in the Georges River National Park administered by the National Parks and Wildlife Service. The river guage 2 (Topographical Map 1:25 000 Appin 9029-1S GR 996106) located above O"Hares Creek on Stokes Creek. Water flow / volume The water flow / volume in O'Hares Creek was very disappointing. We expected more, particularly after the recent rains. The flow / volume in Stokes Creek was also low but we didn't have any expectations. Certainly the flow / volume was much higher in both creeks than we have seen anywhere along 25 kilometres of the upper Georges River. River monitoring points In effect using the locations in the table above we can monitor the flow from almost the whole catchment north of Appin Rd from The Bushwalkers Basin at Kentlyn.
